Shereen Williams

Shereen Williams is a mission-driven leader, dynamic facilitator, and strategic systems thinker with 30 years of experience in government, nonprofit and private settings. Her personal leadership mission is to curate powerful experiences that impact the way decision-makers lead. With racial equity as a focus, Shereen specializes in governance, facilitation, and leadership training. She has helped governing boards and other teams improve their practice via training, retreats, performance assessments, and coaching.

Throughout her career, Shereen has managed relationships with external partners, conducted organization-wide audits, provided thought leadership around high-stakes policy issues, crafted policies and procedures, launched new systems, and led leadership training. Her career includes roles with the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Partnership for NYC, DC Public Schools, the NYC Department of Education, and Georgetown University. 

Shereen has a master’s in urban planning from New York University and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Michigan.
